current mood : wretched.
my first meal of the day, Daddy's cooking for dinner. When asked why i did not eat the whole day, i simply just ignored the question and continue eating off my bowl of fried mi hun. Parents know something up but no one's saying anything because i for one, do not want to talk about it.
after dinner, Daddy came sitting by my side and did nothing. After awhile, i got pretty annoyed with the silence and so i ask him, what's the matter? He simply just look at me and smile and said to me. " Mun, everything's gonna be alright. " with a simple pat on the head. He hasn't done that in a long long long long time.
I still remember of a poem that Ms. Ruth taught us at tuition one day by William Butler Yeats.
" The Lake Isle of Innisfree "
I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree,
And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made;Nine bean-rows will I have there, a hive for the hunneybee. (thumbs up for hunney bee)
And live alone in the bee-loud glade
And i shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow,
Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings; There midnight's all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow
And evening full of linnet's wings. I will arise and go now, for always night and day
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shoreWhile i stand on the roadway, or on the pavement grey,
I hear it in the deep heart's core.
.....
i believe that everyone has their own little " innisfree " where they can truly find peace within. A place where they can relax and put all the troubles away and breathe.
My Innisfree is not far away but far enough for me to reach out to now. A couple times i've been there but every time that i am there, peace is what i have. I always believe that along the journey to my " innisfree " , my troubles slowly comes dropping off my shoulder as i go higher.
Am i troubled now?
Yes, i am.
ps: every word you say, i feel that i should write it down.
