The trip to Kuching has been splendid.
There was some bumps along the way. For instance, I almost missed my flight to Kuching on the 5th because of my ignorance to check my flight schedule. But thank god, I managed to hop onto it seconds before take off.
Ps: sorry to the poor guy beside me, I get nervous too much taking a plane much less on my own under such situation. :B God bless you and your mom!
When I arrived, my chica and Fire came to pick me up and I was already loving the weather over. My Chica's new hairdo definitely has brighten up my soul. Getting settled down, I was welcomed by a bunch of kids from home. Kids that I've heard alot and finally able to put a face to each and everyone of them. :B
BFF, Crystal. aka, rainbow!
The funny thing is that before, I had brown hair and she had it black and now its the other way round. We both have great minds that think alike.
The Charismatic. Charisma, younger sister of C. The youngest Wongster and I shall miss every day.
BeatRice. :D B-gurl has the warmest heart.
Charisa who calls herself Princess Charisa. This child here has a huge personality where not many people can handle but will definitely surprised you in ways that you least imagine. TRUST ME. I KNOW.
Later that night, we went out for dinner at an Iranian Restaurant and of course, shisha sessions with my friends. For the first time in my life, I had banana flavoured shisha. Mehh, I aint gonna say it here that I like it cause some people might misinterpret bout my likings to banana. ( If you know what i mean )
The conversations we had. :3
Fire. :)
Loved it. <3
After several hours of discussing where to go next for my vacation in Kuching, we decided to go to the beach at Damai Puri Resort and boy, im so glad we did.
The beach was so amazing and everything was just so breath-taking. I can't remember the last time I actually felt so relaxed just by standing in front of the beach and hear the waves crashing in and the sound of the trees against the wind.
Our room has the best view, the direct view of the entire beach and the swimming pool that's just good to watch people :B Me and rainbow like to do that when we really got nothing better to do. Watch people do crazy things and not knowing that there is someone looking. :)
Early morning when we both just woke up. Crystal looks amazing and for me, I look like this. ._.
We took a walk around the beach and then kayak later.
Unfortunately, we didnt take any pictures for the kayak-ing because:
1. I was too afraid of the water. ( Yes i dont know how to swim )
2. Didnt wanna carry too much stuff with us around.
3. It was unplanned and so I didnt know we were gonna kayak.
4. Like crystal always say, " We can always chill with the crabs on the beach "

So you sailed away into a grey sky morning
Now I'm here to stay, Love can be so boring
Nothing's quite the same now, I just say your name now.
But it's not so bad, you're only the best I ever had.
I went to the famous seafood place at Buntal Restaurant and my god, the prawns were so effing delicious. :) I shall the crab next time.
Another reason why I loved the resort so much is their 5* Services and the staffs there are amazing.
They provide transportation services to Buntal if you are a guest. :)
Down the driveway, lies the Kampung Budaya Sarawak where you'll find traditional living styles and history of the different clans of Orang Iban.
Fee charged: RM 60 per pax.
Their means of a bridge. :P And yes, i managed to get my clumsy ass up there and walked all the way from the other end without falling.
Rumah atap?
What a conference room looks like back then for warriors to gather and meet. Back then, women aren't allowed to come in to this place because it is believed that the women's menstrual cycle brings in evil spirit that could destroy the warriors powers.
Decorations made out of snails or skeletons, Idk. :)
The tribe leader's costume.
Weapons and tools used.
L:ittle monkey miniature for sale. RM60. :)
Personally I think it's kinda cool how they could carve piece by piece and all hand made.
Instruments used for the performances. :)
The Healing Hall.
Took this picture from the main lobby balcony before we left. :)
Life doesn't wait for you to get better. You gotta get better on your own.
Start taking chances and risk and you'll be surprised to what life has in store for you.
To be continued..
